End of Financial Year - Tips

NetBank has a range of services which will make tax time easier and faster for you. With NetBank you can:

  • View a summary of interest earned and charged on your NetBank listed accounts for FY2011/12. Simply click on the View Accounts tab, select Account Information and then select the account you wish to view.

  • View your Transaction History with specified search criteria and then choose a date range or view by financial year. Simply click on the View Accounts tab, then Transactions and select the relevant account.

  • Export your NetBank transactions to an accounting package like MYOB, Quicken or even Excel. All you need to do is click the Export button at the bottom of the Transactions page.

  • View up to 7 years’ worth of statements online. Click on the View Accounts tab and select Statements. Choose the account you wish to view statements for. You can also view up to 2 years’ worth of past statements for closed accounts by clicking the Closed Accounts link.

When using the Australian Tax Office (ATO) eTax software to complete your tax return, your bank interest details can be pre-filled automatically. Visit the ATO eTax website to find out more.

Make more of your money

You can make your tax refund money work harder for you by taking advantage of our online term deposit.  You can open a term deposit online in less than 5 minutes and view your account in NetBank immediately.  Simply click on the Offers and Apply tab, then select Term Deposits and choose your preferred option.
