The Bank sends you a Renewal Notice approximately one week prior to your Term Deposit maturing.  This  Notice advises you of the choices available at maturity and the current interest rate for reference, should you wish to re-invest your Term Deposit.   You can provide your Term Deposit instructions over the phone by calling 13 2221, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, up to seven days prior to maturity. For more information, click here.

If no instructions for renewal or withdrawal are received prior to the date of maturity, the Term Deposit will be automatically re-invested for the same time period as your current Term Deposit. The interest rate applied to the renewed Term Deposit will be the standard rate applicable on the date of maturity for the same term and balance applying to new Term Deposits To find out the current interest rate on your Term Deposit simply logon to NetBank (for registered users only), phone 13 2221 or visit any Commonwealth Bank branch
