To receive an overseas payment into your CommBank account, you'll need to provide the sender with the following details:

  • Bank name: Commonwealth Bank of Australia
  • BIC / SWIFT Code: CTBAAU2S
  • Your BSB / Account Number: To view your BSB and account number, simply log on to NetBank. Alternatively, please call 13 2221 at anytime or visit any branch.

Please note: IBANs are not used in Australia. Some countries however may require you to provide an IBAN. In this case, your Commonwealth Bank BSB and account number should be combined and provided to the sender, for example:

06200011111111
(BSB)(Account number)

Please do not enter any spaces, dashes or hyphens.
